About the Book

The briefest synopsis of what the book is about is, essentially, cats, compromise, morals and ethics, perceptions, misperceptions, relationships with a splash of communication, and a lack of communication. Here is an extended version of what I’d like the reader to obtain upon completion. It’s about doing the right thing—what’s right for you. Life is full of compromises, especially when dealing with relationships. However, stay true and do not yield your beliefs and know when compromise is simply not an option. Do not jump to conclusions or judge someone based solely on their actions or inactions. Communication (two-way communication) is the key element in resolving all the above issues.

About the Author

When I was thirteen, I thought I knew everything. The more educated I became was when the vast unknown unfolded before me, exponentially, of just how much I didn’t know. It was much more than just humbling; kind of like being one grain of sand on an endless beach. Though I’m speaking of acquired knowledge through education, the above I found is still true about relationships and the role we play in other people’s lives—even people we don’t know and may never meet. This is my first book. I was compelled to write this book. I had no longing desire to be an author. The story I’m telling has two important messages that needed to be told so others will not enter the same pitfalls that encompassed most of my life. First, don’t judge or label people. Though in many instances it seems the easiest thing to do, unless you’ve walked in their shoes, you simply do not have all the essential facts. Secondly, and this one is more important, do what’s right for you! There are times when compromise is not an option. Unfortunately, I found that out the hard way. I currently live in Tacoma, Washington, with my wife, Tuyet, and my white cat, Snowball. My hobby, since I was thirteen, has been collecting love songs.
