When I got to the cemetery it was still dark. I found my way to my mother’s grave. I told her my whole heart. I gave her a report about all her children . we are blame for everything that is broke or missing . I have to fight for them all the time. Pounene i am tired, I have no more to give, this is too much for me. I began to cry. I was so sure she would get up out of that grave, but she never did. the sun was coming up. death must be a powerful thing , when it wont let you come and see about your child.

About the Author

I was born in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina. I am the oldest of seven children. I served in the army for three years. I loved it, but I saw so much racism I decided to get out. One of my dreams was to see men treated fairly. I am the father of seven children whom I love so much. If I had to choose breathing or dying for my children, I would use my last breath saying I love them. Know this about me. I will fight for a child, not just my child, but any child. No one gets mercy from me when you abuse a child. When you take a child’s innocence and their purity, something they can never get back, that person should give up something they cannot get back, then they should give up something they cannot get back, their freedom. Some cases, their lives.
