It was the first day back to school after summer and I was excited to make new friends. I was very nervous. It all really started when during gym class when an out of control ball hit me in the head and knocked me out in front of the entire class. After a while I felt fine but everyone kept talking and laughing about it. Little did I know that this was when I was going to start losing my color.

Hello, my name is Rainbow Waters. I was bullied growing up. I felt colorless and dark, but I figured out how to escape and bring back the color that was missing in my life.
About the Author
Chance Hansen is a laid-back children’s author filled with confidence and drive. He tries to be positive through even hard times. He likes to collect cartoon neckties and he helps as a farmhand on the family farm near Cherhill Alberta.
