About the Author

Marshall Godwin lives in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada. He has practiced as a family physician for 28 years in rural and urban settings in several Canadian provinces. For much of his career he has been involved with teaching and research in a university academic setting. His previous book The Bedford Murder: An Evidence Based Clinic Mystery received the American Medical Writers Association's Best Book for Physicians Award in 2004. He has also written a number of chapters in medical books and over 60 medical journal articles. Dr. Godwin is married with two adult children.
