This is a story about Shoshi and George Monkey. They are best friends and they love to sing and dance and play together. Every night Mommy and Daddy read bedtime stories to both of them, and then Shoshi sings a goodnight lullaby to little George Monkey.

About the Book
A story about love and loss and how to help a young child understand and cope with the loss of a loved one. The main characters are a little girl and her stuffed animal monkey, which goes through trials and tribulations and eventually “leaves” her.
About the Author
Libby Beth is a writer, actor, director and teacher. There’s a Rainbow in the Mud is her first picture book, and it came about shortly after a family tragedy in which her three-year-old goddaughter was left as an only child. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Claire DeWilde is an illustrator and an art student at CSULB. She loves going to the beach with her dog and having adventures with her friends. She has always loved books and hopes to continue to bring them to life through art.
