Opening the door at Mykonos, I am hit by a warm balmy wind. How I love this place; it just oozes romance.
With the security checks complete and ready to start the boarding, I walk into the flight deck. Startled, we collide right into each other as he is just behind the door. I am pushed up against the circuit breaker panel. Johannes is so close; I can smell his masculinity. Both of his hands grip onto my body. His look is amorous, and for a moment, I think he's going to kiss me. Lost, I stare at those perfectly shaped lips. Oh the urge to run my hands through that sun-streaked surfer-style hair of his, and then he breaks the silence.
"Sorry, sweetheart. I was just hanging up my jacket in the wardrobe. Didn't see you come in." The moment is gone, and I try to regain my composure, hiding the crimson shade of pink I feel I have become.
"No, it's my fault. I just wanted to tell you that our security checks are complete. Can we start the boarding?"
"Just waiting for Alessio to come back. I think we may have hit a bird or two on our descent into Mykonos."
"Oh dear?" I reply, thinking about the fate of the those poor birds.
He stops for a second and looks at me again. Lifting his hand, he runs a finger delicately down the side of my cheek. Startled, I try to keep my composure.
