About the Book

This is the story of a little girl called Hannah. When she was told that she had to start ‘Automated Peritoneal Dialysis’ she was a little frightened. She quickly discovered however that there was nothing at all to worry about.

Having Dialysis, enabled Hannah to continue to live a full and active life and very soon, just became part of her daily routine.

About the Author

David Tarbrook currently works as a staff nurse for the Diana Children's Nursing Service in North Wales. He is married and has four children. His life has been very much touched by people suffering from renal disease and dialysis, as both his father, to whom this book is dedicated, and also too his youngest daughter require or have required to have dialysis due to their conditions. The author found that there were no children's books dealing with this issue, and therefore decided to write a series of books to help children and parents who suffer from renal disease and consequently receive dialysis. This is book one out of a series of books to be published dealing with children and renal disease.
