The purpose of this work is to provide materials on what needs to be done to help lay people in the church to participate in ministry in two areas: (1) the church, and (2) the world. Content provides instructions on principles of ministry, practical suggestions on equipping lay people for ministry in the world of the church, and a training program for equipping laity for ministry in the world.

This book should appeal to bible study individuals and groups. It can be a supplementary text and provides guidance for schools and colleges of Christian Education as well as general reading.

About the Author

Dr. Herbert W. Byrne has spent over 40 years in Christian Ministry, serving as pastor, evangelist, college administrator, classroom teacher and lecturer in the field of christian education, working in over thirty denominations in the USA and Canada. He is the author of several books in the field.
