About the Book

From Scratch and On A Shoestringis an essential tool for entrepreneurs starting their own practice or business. It pushes the new practitioner or business person through the long arduous learning curve; which normally takes about five years to get their practice on its feet.

Years of experience in extremely successful businesses, coupled with worldwide marketing research, bring together the best advice of marketing professionals from around the globe. This is not a book of theories, but a book of practical strategies that you cn put to work immediately.

By the time you implement half of the simple strategies presented, you'll be sufficiently busy and find it difficult to find time to complete the remaining plans. The entire premise of the book is to spend as little time as possible to become profitable as rapidly as possible.

Art Leidecker's belief is that it shouldn't take a lot of money to get started if an idea is truly good. This book is so full of good step-by-step strategies, that it carries a generous money-back guarantee. Read it, and if you'renot absolutely convinced in two weeks that it will immediately start making you more money than you expected from any book, he'll refund your money.

About the Author

Art Leidecker has been marketing for the past thirty-five years. As a consultant to Paramount Pictures, Columbia Pictures, HBO Cannon and Embassy Pictures he built 11 corporations in the U. S. and Canada and retired at the age of 47. After a few years of pursuing a number of personal interests, he decided to further investigate the field of hypnotism, a lifelong interest. His fascination with the power of the mind and how it works in marketing motivated him to become a hypotherapist. As his practice grew he became interested in helping people become hypnotherapists, and in 1997 established the Leidecker Institute, one of the largest hypnotherapy training schools in the country. He has travelled the world researching marketing styles and strategies and has combined the benefits of that research into his book, From Scratch and On a Shoestring.

He is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist and Certified Instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists, a Certified Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) Instructor, and President of the International Association of Medical and Therapeutic Specialists. He teaches for Elgin Community College in Illinois, in addition to teaching Certification Courses to new hypnotists, doctors, psychologists, social workers and counselors, he still has a very active private practice. He has appeared on TV and radio and presents group workshops in marketing, self-esteem, motivation, and weight loss. In 1999 he received the National Guild of Hypnotists Instructor of the Yearaward and was awarded Hypnotist of the Year at the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference.

The Leidecker Institute offers a variety of state approved vocational courses as well as a private label light and sound machine and electronics for hypnotists.
