About the Book

Our growing up years have a profound effect on the life we will live as an adult. The expectations our parents placed on us as children helped to form the expectations we place on ourselves as adults. As we understand the development of relationships it helps us realize that there comes a time when we each need to recognize that our future depends on us taking responsibility for making changes. If we accept that It is possible to resolve all the issues that we created through the negative perceptions formed around our own experiences we can then take steps to resolve the issues.

The importance of balance and taking charge so that we create it for ourselves can help us to reduce stress which can result in depression and/or anxiety. With the absence of the "baggage" most of us carry, the development of healthy long term relationships is possible. Breaking the cycle of what has been called "dysfunction", our children can be free from adopting our negative patterns. The past can be put to rest for ourselves and others who could be affected negatively by our choices, communication and behaviors and reaching our full potential as a human being is more achievable.

Expectations is a book that helps one not only recognize what needs to be resolved in order to attract the positive in life, but it suggests tools that help to leave the past behind and move into the future with hope, enthusiasm, confidence and love.
