About the Book

This writing is a scientific-philosophical work based on simple physical and mathematical fundamentals. A hypothesis is presented here according to which matter and antimatter are facing each other in a sort of "halfway encounter" everywhere in the cosmos. As this confrontation in space time is not possible because of the annihilation process, antimatter is visualized to exist in nature at all times in a medium in the core of matter, considered to be "extrinsic" to both space time and matter. This environment is supposed to be full of negative energy, not unlike the negative energy medium as a solution for Dirac's equations. On the other hand there is also in this scenario a force weakening factor (a dielecrtic interface) intercalated between matter and antimatter so that the electromagnetic interaction between them should be so outrageously weakened that it would be converted into a "gravitational" force. This force weakening factor is a dielectric interface with a calculated constant of 1,3 X 10^36 for proton-antiproton(see section on this for explanation). Antimatter is supposed to be imersed not only in the very cor of matter (ranging from subatomic particles to astrophysical bodies), but also beyond the farthest (and oldest) galaxies, that is beyond the fully expanded space time. In this model, as it becomes apparent throughout the work, the space time has a limit and therefore a specific "edge" as the "cosmological principle" stating that space time is equal in every direction from everywhere's vantage point is an unwaranted assumption with no real scientific bases long held by astrophysicists.

The breaking down point for the hypothetic m-a dielectric interface is assumed to be the minimal critical energy (or voltage) required for "pair production" since less than that, matter and antimatter supposedly should remain isolated from each other at all time in nature. Under these conditions, unable for a succesful encounter, the logical consequence should be a universal spheroidal shape and a spinnimng motion of matter around antimatter (at small and large scales).

It is shown here that the electromagnetic interaction is supposed to be the fundamental force in nature; 1°) The elctromagnetic force per se; electron-proton interaction. 2° The already accepted as electromagnetic, electroweak force. 3°) "Gravity", being just a matter-antimatter electromagnetic interaction with a "force weakening factor" intercalated, the dielectric interface. 4°) The nuclear strong force being also the electromagnetic interaction with a "force enhancing factor " added, that is, the superconductivity of matter acquired at nuclear range.

About the Author

Gilberto Camblor underwent an outstanding honorary distinction in the BASIC SCIENCES in Austin, Texas in 1964. Ever since, the author has been thoroghly studying physics, astrophysics and cosmology, trying to build up a concept of our Universe based on its perfect symmetry. He has published a similar book; "The matter antimatter cosmic model"; Vantage Press Inc, New York in 2003. During the last four years (2003-2007) he has thoroughly revised the book. Its present title; "The thesis of a symmetric universe".
