About the Book

Your “planner” is designed to guide you through the logical thoughts and ideas you will need to design a customized strategy for your own life. Your CV should contain not only your business curriculum vitae but also your spiritual, your family, your health, and your personal accomplishments and goals. Topics include: personal profile and self inventory, spiritual goals, career and higher education goals, health goals, future family goals, financial goals, and lifestyle goals.

Your planner is your own private record. Always share your goals with your parents. Make your best informed decision by factoring the advice from your loved ones along with prayer, and research. Remember, as time progresses and your priorities in life change, you may revise your goals as many or as few times as needed.

About the Author

Thomas Schliesing is a retired educator with 38 years of service to Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde, Texas. He was a classroom instructor for 30 years and subsequently served as director of the college Educational Opportunity Centers, Career Center, and Recruitment for eight years.

He is the coauthor of a book: Texas Victory, 2003, Denzel Holmes & Tom Schliesing, Word Wright.biz. The book is a novel about Tom’s German ancestors immigrating to Texas in 1845.

Tom earned his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University, now Texas State University, and his master’s degree at Texas Tech University. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Uvalde. He has been married 41 years to his wife Ouida. They have three children: Bettina, James, and Roxann.
