About the Author

Meet the author Michael Gabriel Frino was born in Forked River, New Jersey and grew up in Naples, Florida. After graduating with a Degree in Business and Marketing from Florida Southern College, he pursued an MBA through Nova University and obtained his Doctorate in Education and Leadership from Barry University. He is married to a very special lady Lori and has two beautiful daughters, Gabriella and Gianna, age 4 and 3. Michael has always had a creative side and throughout High School and College he always dabbled in story and poetry writing. Whatever the occasion everyone went to Michael to either write a farewell poem or congratulatory verse for an event coming up. It wasn’t until he began reading endless books to his daughters that he realized his time had come to sit down and put his creative side to work. Waycool School was an idea that came about after creating the character Jackson Myside. Everyone needs someone to be on there side and Jackson Myside was the perfect character to take you on adventures and fill you in on some everyday happenings while always being, on your side. Hence the name “ Jacks on my side.” Michael is also our wonderful son and we are proud to have this honor of writing this author page. Good luck with Jackson Myside and The Waycool School Series.
