At a time when media so heavily influences children, it is easy for them to forget that beauty is not only found in physical appearance, but is prevalent in their actions: beauty is found on the inside. I wrote this book as a reminder to not “judge a book by its cover” and to embrace yourself for who you are. The Peach and the Plum conveys this moral in a friendly manner alongside bright and quirky images sure to delight any reader.
