Losing weight or keeping trim is a goal that many women have, whether they want to become a famous model or not. The benefits to be gained are enormous, from the positive effects on our health, complexion, energy and body shape, so it’s well worth it. The good news is that almost anyone can do it.

About the Author

Angela L. Bowie is a model, actress and author who was born in Greenwood, Mississippi but moved to Chicago when she was young, following a family tragedy. There she was invited to do a modeling job for a hair salon and this was the catalyst that propelled her into the world of modelling and a career that has seen many highs, including an appearance on the cover of L’Oreal NY-Mazani. Angela quickly discovered that real beauty lies within, however, realizing that health, nutrition are just as important as outward beauty. As a result she founded Posladies Beauty Inc, which aims to empower women and dares them to be all they can. As an addition to her successful modeling career, Angela is also an author, with her cookbook Eat Like a Trophy Model set to take her to new heights. She has also written a book of poetry and a memoir entitled Testimony of a Trophy Model: The Ugly Truth Behind the Beauty, for which she has high hopes. In her free time Angela enjoys cooking and creating her Trophy Model brand. She loves spending time with her three granddaughters and is a care giver for a mentally disabled veteran, who loves her cooking. She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and is always encouraging her friends and family to include it in their own lives. In the future she hopes to turn her brand Trophy Model into a multi-million dollar company, eventually providing books, fitness merchandise, product placements and reality TV shows.
