About the Author

Being the mother of two children, it was easy for this author to write about what kids love to do. We all know that feeling of excitement when we step off that bus on the last day of school and then the feeling of excitement when school starts again. Not only was this author inspired by her children’s adventures, but she also decided it was more fun to rhyme about them in the stories she tells. The author of the Miss Maddie Mae Book series, Jackie Sowatsky, lives in Lititz, Pennsylvania, with her husband, two golden retrievers, and one Siamese cat.
