About the Book

After having been trapped deep within the planet Nox for thousands of years, the invisible entity that calls itself Neraka, finally escapes to the surface world where it is quickly overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of this strange new environment. To better explore its new surroundings, Neraka hides inside the body of the first creature it sees—a young and innocent girl named Rhiannon. Neraka slowly begins to take over Rhiannon’s body and mind until she is no longer able to fight it. Neraka uses Rhiannon for its own purposes, and in its greed and arrogance, alienates the people that have grown to love and care for her. Now Rhiannon’s friends must try to rescue her from certain destruction.

R. Thomas Rodgers is an American author currently living in Southeast Asia with his wife and two children. He is the author of eight books for children published in Malaysia, including the charming and humorous series, The Adventures of Rudy the Rooster.
