About the Author

The author held the rank of major in the S.A. Police after thirty years uninterrupted service. Author is sixty-one years of age and had been employed in almost all sectors of the police during his years of service. He was retired in 1990 for health reasons. He published his works in Afrikaans up to date and opted to publish his English novels under the pseudonym of Jack Durrel abroad. Author had written a number of manuscripts amongst which are ten versions in British English for the overseas market.
