About the Author

Kim was born in Brooks Alberta, and has attained some rather impressive stats while living in Alberta. Not only is he an accomplished Telecom Technician, but also along the way he obtained a Teachers Certificate in Highland Dancing and Social Level Ballroom. Kim competed in Highland Dancing across Canada and the USA and was rated in the top 3 in the world at the age of 12 - 15. He also competed in Ballroom, Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Modern Stage. From what we have heard he can also play the bagpipes, piano, guitar and sings when he installs Satellite Dishes, so beware of the singing installer. Kim is also a person who has faced adversity and come out a winner. In 1994 Kim suffered an allergic reaction at the Dentist and died on the Dentist chair, a year later he was involved in a tragic fire that left him with burns to 40% of his body. Medical personal had written him off as never being able to regain a place in the work force. Kim says he developed a saying and uses it to this day. “Today, I have a choice, I can groan and get bitter, or I can Grow and get Better. Today, I choose to Grow and get Better!” it has been this undying attitude, and faith in God that Kim carries with him on a day to day basis that brought him back from his personal hell, to being the owner of an expanding business, and the proud husband and father he is today.
