About the Book
The story of Willis Buttram, a young man who journeys north To inherit his aging Uncle’s trapline and homestead, however special conditions apply. The terms are; marriage to Wilma Bennett – Trader Bennett’s eldest daughter who for several years has been the Uncle’s constant helper and companion. The young people marry without ever seeing each other before the vows are spoken. Soon after the marriage, while blueberry picking Willis is frightfully mauled by a bear And his recovery is slow and painful. As her upbringing dictates Wilma stands true to her vows and nurses Willis back to health.
About the Author
Milton Ramsden now resides in Ear Falls, a small town in Northwestern Ontario with Martha his wife of over thirty years. Milt enjoys managing and maintaining his own registered trapline and also enjoys Wood working, hunting, fishing, gardening, good friends, solitude and now writing of books. With this his first novel, Milt opens the door to another exciting and fascinating Endeavor.
