About the Book
The author speaks of Joy, both a character and the emotion that he relates to literally and metaphorically. He combines biblical references, life learned lessons, original poetry and comical satire to take readers on a journey of a fallen relationship. Doomed from the moment they met; he tries desperately to hold on to his lost Joy. The biblical references illuminate the path that he should have taken; while his dark and sometime dismal poetry conveys the thoughts and imagery that he struggles with to find understanding. With no sufficient father figure to rely on, he runs head strong and dead wrong into futile relationships trying to find the one thing he never had, joy. He discovers through trials and great tribulations that God, above all things is, was and will always be his everlasting joy
