About the Book

Eric`s early carefree childhood, full of joyful pranks and innocent happiness, ended abruptly when he was eleven. His life in Ireland became a downward spiral of petty crime and alcohol abuse, in an attempt to try and blot out the past.

Friends came and went, but Patrick became Eric`s best friend, drinking buddy and partner in crime, who tolerated his loud mouth, attention-seeking attitude and Mafia fantasies.

Eric fell in love with Patrick`s sister, Pauline, and the three of them emigrated to the USA, to leave their cold depressing lives behind. It started off great, Eric found work and soon became the proud father of Kyle. Patrick met and fell for Karla Sensini, unaware that she was the daughter of a prominent, Los Angelus, Mafia Godfather, Claudio Sensini.
Patrick could not resist the temptations of a wealthy Mafia lifestyle. Eric later found out and refused to be drawn into the reality of his youthful Mafia fantasies.

As months went by, all three wondered where this horrible episode would end. Each time they fell asleep at night they would dream about life back home in Ireland.
Every night becoming more afraid, those, cold drunken depressing lives they once lived in Ireland, were becoming something they would miss dearly.........

About the Author

I was born in Galway, Ireland in 1976, the town where my book begins. Despite been advised in school to seek a writing career, I went in a different direction. My writing talent would be buried for almost 16 years, when I decided to write a little story of my life, and the lives of people close to me. Throwing in some youthful pranks and dreams, the book, Let Dreams Be Dreams was born. If this book was to do well, I would definitely consider writing more books that hopefully make it to the bookstores.
