Human intellect and collective social instinct has improved conditions for most people. We seem compelled; but where did all this come from? Science suggests it was 500 million years of Evolution! Modern scientific facts are based on empirical knowledge and only mathematics is truly fundamental. Science is justified in condemning creationism’s ‘Intelligent Design’, but when we direct Nature, is it not directing itself? Logic and imagination are strong directional filters for order, suggesting undiscovered laws in Nature! Science explains the impossible odds against accidental creation of matter and biological life with probabilities. One theory has an infinite number of Universes, guaranteeing that Earth exists in one! Ancient Chinese philosophy (Yin-Yang) contends that every force in nature is counteracted by an opposite that defines the other, providing balance in Nature. This is easily confirmed, except for intelligence and imagination. “Out of Nothing” addresses such issues in a non-scientific manner and the informal language is easy to understand, requiring only basic curiosity.
