About the Book

The chronicles of the transformation of Tomás Rodaja, effected by a potion given to him by an evil woman, has been handed over to us by the gifted hands of its ancient author. However, all the events captured in the original manuscript can be accurately described as greatly embellished hearsay. This book offers the thoughts and insights of the character directly from the comfort of his analyst’s couch and without undue interpretations by third parties and special interest groups. Such confessions, as it is not inappropriate to call them that way, allow us to explore the ideas of the subject on topics as diverse and fundamental as death, religion, prejudices, child rearing and the like. The language used, contrived and too full of foreign expressions as it may be judged to be, still manages to reveal the bulk of the ideas that the character obsesses about, letting us see a glimpse of his soul, reflected in the mirror of reality.

About the Author

Born in "La villa de La Orotava", Santa Cruz de Tenerife province in Spain, the author emigrated with his parents during childhood to America, where he has spent most of his life. While trying to birth logical devices (biology would not allow anything else) the author obtained a PhD, a license to practice engineering and a certification as a professional project manager. Not able to emulate Spock on account of uncooperating ears, he decided to go for Scotty’s niche. Now he attempts literature. How hard can that be?
