About the Book

When life as a single mother makes her descend into poverty, Jaelynn Stone falls for Brian, a fine charismatic brotha who not only happens to be the “one” she had been praying for, but is also a pimp.

Faced with the reality that she will never get the chance to provide a better future for her children, she makes the decision to not give in to his demands for her life. Eventually, she finds herself in a relationship with not only another pimp, but his best friend/partner Mike.

For the love of money as well as her thoughts of lust, she continues to live a life of lies and deception as someone she never thought she was capable of being. After becoming mentally and spiritually drained, raped and beaten, she realizes how insignificant and useless her life has become for her children and begs for a way out despite the threats that are being made against her life.

In the process of changing her fate, she faces death, while begging for another chance at life to become the woman that she believes she is destined to be. Will she be able to change her self-destructive ways and find her destiny?

About the Author

Kyra Leslie is a Registered Nurse who currently resides in Kansas City with her three children. Although Lies Untold is her first novel, she hopes to capture her readers with more of her inspiring stories.
