Sherry Russell GMS -Books on LineThe lyrical phases that make up Matthew Paul Brna's Dear Love... capture the true essence of what it feels like to be in love.
The author's words beautifully shower the reader with a warm tranquil feeling as they experience each thought provoking poem. This vast collection is the substance needed to put into words what a person feels when they are lucky enough to have love enter their lives. I was impressed with the depth the author went into as he slowly entwined his words into my heart. This book was an unforgettable journey - a visit into the deep realms of the unknown. I would highly recommend committing this authors name to memory, for I am sure it will be one you will hear more about in the future.
Very highly recommended.

"Dear Love... ," a book of poems written by Matthew Paul Brna, opens with a poem entitled "Waking Love."
The words are very passionate, as Matthew writes of one's lover being beautiful beyond anything in the universe. I soon learn that how the author sees love, is beyond most poets that I've had the opportunity to read in the past. Each poem, and there are almost a hundred, flows with echoes of enticing love. I found "Fire's Dream" as unique as its title. It reveals a consuming love that is frightening, yet fulfilling. The poem "God-Dess," is reminiscent of Shakespeare's line, "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." "God-Dess," has to be read many times and pondered, for each time one gets a different meaning.
Moment," travels on winged thoughts for three sensuous, fiery pages. It then ends with - "This! is how much I love you." The author questions his life in "With You," but finds that none of it is important as long as he is with the one he loves. The days of the week will never quite be the same after reading "Each Week." This unique calendar of love, takes us from Sunday to Someday, in lines that evoke lust. "Already Kissed," starts as poetry and gushily ends like a slurpee, in a delightful rendition of kissing put to paper. It would be difficult to choose a favorite poem, as each one was thoroughly engrossing, and completely enjoyable to read. My mystical side found the "Dream Catcher," simple, yet beautiful. The lady is described as a dream catcher, that love itself dreams of. Matthew saved the best for last. It's a poetic marriage proposal entitled, "Nothing To Say." The words are carefully placed upon the pages as if they were fine paintings. Matthew's use of words is so eloquent that one should curl up in a comfortable chair, with a glass of wine and soft lighting, to read his poetry.

Dear Love... is simply a loving ballet of words!
About the Author
Matthew was born and raised in Colorado. He has always thought, lived and dreamed "outside the box" in every aspect of life with an intensified and cultured interest in the fine and refined arts. As a sort of expert improvement specialist, this book has evolved from complexly expressing the simple experience of the vast realm of merely being in love with great detail that is rather commonplace expressiveness to him while bewildering most others. He continually traipsing love's dream and devotionally exploring life's impossible possibilities perhaps as a sort of professional pioneer of perfect chance as one of the literally few brave enough to find what we are all looking for. In all of humanity's existence of all times, Matthew is indeed a rare expressionist that even only a few of perhaps 1% of the earth's entire population may actually grasp with accurate comprehension. It would be even rarer that just one, yes only one, could not only enjoy yet also reciprocate and answer such. You are invited to enjoy his expressions as best you may, and hopefully springboard unto fuller and fuller joys inspirationally.
