About the Book

Nerding was born and bred in a seaside town in north Kent about 7 miles east of historic Chaversham, England. In 2005 he fought a mid life crisis and after two falls and a submission, he and his family including a dog and cat, departed the relative safety of England to explore an island in the southern hemisphere, and it wasn't Australia. He lives with his best friend The Evey but is vaguely aware of some smaller people in the house. He describes himself as an anally retentive Virgoan, so you had better not be bending back any of these pages now, especially if you have borrowed the book from a friend, the library or not even paid for it yet.

About the Author

Nerding was born in a small, British seaside town in 1965. He grew up in the same area. Schooling, work, marriage and children followed in that order. Scared of large powerful motorbikes, early middle life brought instead, an uncontrollable desire to move to New Zealand. A large powerful motorbike would have been cheaper. In 2005 the family with pets moved to NZ. Despite careful research they made numerous mistakes in the process. Nerding wrote his book so that others visiting NZ would be free to make a whole new load of their own unique ones instead.
