About the Author

Gustav was born at the start of the Second World War and spent his childhood and teens in Luxembourg. Ninety eight per cent of that country profess to be Catholics. After college, technical school and an obligatory military service he entered a Catholic monastery in France to become a Catholic monk. In 1966 he emigrated to Canada. That same year he left the Catholic Monastery in Montreal but not the Catholic Church. Later Gustav moved to Vancouver B.C. In 1976 he married and fathered a girl the following year. His excellent marriage of more than thirty years is a great testimony to his wonderful, loving wife.
