About the Author

Judith Moody shares her love of young people and First Nations legends plus her respect for their culture in the Golden Eye series (Golden Eye and the Deadly Dancer preceded this book). Born on the west coast of Canada, she explored the islands by land and sea. A graduate of the Institute of Childrenユs Literature, she is also a member of the Society of Childrenユs Book Writers and Illustrators Institute. Ms. Moody resides now in Red Deer, Alberta with her daughter, but has three sons, a growing number of grandchildren back in B.C.
