About the Author

John Alexander was born, raised and educated in Scotland. After service overseas with the Parachute Regiment, he immigrated to Canada where he worked as a hard-rock miner, reporter on daily newspapers, press liaison officer with the British High Commission, Ottawa, and as a senior editor analyst with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Married, Jock and his wife Nancy have two children and a delightful grand-daughter
