About the Author

Shirley's passion is writing and telling stories. She has written children's books and this is her first novel. She enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter and watching her grow and mature into a very caring young woman. Shirley also does missionary work with teams in the Caribbean, helping to build homes for the homeless and providing much needed supplies and computers for local schools. In South Africa she helps to raise funds for supplies and to support staff at an abandoned children's home. She and her daughter are just completed a 3 month volunteer time at the children's home. Their lives have been forever changed by the children and staff. Look forward to her next book about the times they shared while in South Africa!!
