About the Book
Communicating the importance of the arts on developing proper human values, Asses and Ginger Roots weaves an array of essays, poetry, memoirs, quotes, and observations into this eclectic compilation. Author and artist Ano Ertas has gathered the contents of this book from his travels around the globe, and he now shares these gifts of wisdom in this collection.
Featuring a selection of life topics—from arts, literature, philosophy, culture, and learning—Ertas combines poetry, quotes, and personal experience into thought-provoking messages. The quotations originate from cultural and historical observations, with embedded memoirs, residues, and collections of memories from Ertas’ life as a student. Later observations and notations were imbedded through lectures in the educational and multilingual environment of a university.
By sharing these anecdotes and wisdom garnered from worldwide travels, Ertas sets the foundation for a better enlightenment and productive, loving, and peaceful human interaction to bring the spirit and the wisdom of the past to humanity’s common table.
