About the Book

Echoes of the Past tells the true story of the author’s search for freedom and her journey through struggle and separation towards healing and love. From the Christian Missions in China and the turmoil of war-torn Germany, to the dangers faced in Communist East Germany, and finally onto new opportunities in America, Anita’s story is compelling. It is the story of families and faith, love and loss. Yet it speaks of the self-determination and faith in God to persevere, and finally prevail and prosper in the face of challenges. This is the story of how one woman turned abandonment and struggle into a life that is the essence of the American dream.

About the Author

Anita Osborn lives in Scottsbluff, Nebraska with her husband Bill. She is actively involved in her church, her community, and most importantly, with her family.
