About the Book

Keep me safe is the ideal book for students in kindergarten and primary school. Keep me safe was not written to make children or parents afraid, but rather to promote awareness. After reading this book children will realize that the world is not always a safe place, and that some adults are bad people. They would also realize that it is okay to confront adults such parents, teachers, pastors, or the police, if they need to talk or if someone tries to take advantage of them. Keep me safe was written to encourage parents to be open with their children. It also attempts to get them to discuss circumstances they might not ordinary discuss, or that they might feel uncomfortable discussing. Most children are normally so naive. Unfortunately because the majority of children are so trusting, it is easy for adults to take advantage of their innocence. Keep me safe opens parent's eyes to possible danger that can come their childen's way. Parents and children should remain alert at all times, and should take the necessary precaution to be safe.

About the Author

I was born in Nassau Bahamas, on the 16th of December 1972. After graduating from High School, I attended Savannah State University in Savannah Georgia in 1991. While there, I received a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with specialization in Hospitality Management, Tourism and International Business Management. I later obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2005, from Nova Southeastern University located in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I always had a passion for writing; even as a child, I remember writing many poems and stories. Because I love children so much, I have enjoyed writing this book of poems, and trust that it would be helpful to parents and their children.
