About the Book

In the sleepy hollow of Park Falls, a town rested in the hazy days of mature order and peace. James Reynolds, a physics professor employed with Sherman Patterson University for the Sciences outside of Saskatoon, lived the good life. A traditional family with simple values were the Reynolds, James, Christine, Angela and Paula. The wife and two daughters of James had it all. They had love, health and faith. Moreover, with these blessings they would thrive and prosper along with a happy community. As summer approached, a symposium for the sciences happened at the university. All was well in the storied town and life was fine until a renegade astrophysicist used the venue to drop a bombshell scientific discovery on the world using the town of Park Falls as his pulpit. As James befriended the scientist, he was drawn into a juggernaut of colossal proportions. The stranger to town let loose for the world the knowledge of its impending doom and humankind’s extinction. With only months to survive, James and his family could only watch as the world fell into a chasm over which man had no control. The science which James loved most of all was at play in the universe and the world could only wait frightfully in anticipation for the outcome.
