About the Book
Tom Mueller, a federal agent from the Midwest, and his late twin brother, Fred, ended up on opposite sides of the law. But the two brothers’ lives intertwined with those of twin sisters from New York City. While fighting drug lords, Tom tries to discover how and why his twin got involved with drug trafficking. His quest takes him to such places as Galveston, New Orleans, Miami, and the Florida Keys. Along the way, the agent’s family tree grows a new branch when a long-lost relative shows up. Tom Mueller continues the good fight against drugs and organized crime despite several attempts by the underworld to kill him. Tom finally figures out there’s more to life than chasing the bad guys and forges surprising new careers for himself and his wife who just happens to be one of the twins he met in New York.
About the Author
Thomas L. Eckert is a native of Toledo, Ohio. He is a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and attended Ohio State University. After serving as a Marine and being awarded two Purple Hearts in the Korean War, Tom was a Toledo policeman, later operator of a supper club in Michigan, and leader of his own big band. Tom’s latest book is a sequel to “Lethal Twins” a novel published in 2004. He is now retired but is active in Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2510 in East Toledo, where he had held several posts in recent years.
