About the Book
First loves usually occur in adolescence. Such is the case for Laurent St. Jacques and Ashley Cummings. When circumstances separate them, a tyrannical parent acts in a way that changes their lives. Going separate ways, circumstances bring them together again, but that adolescent magic is gone. The impact of that first love has life-long consequences for them and has significant impact on the St. Jacques family. Adopted siblings bring a new meaning to sibling love that Larry (Laurent) and his wife Penny have to face. For the adult reader, the story offers love, sex, humor and by some definitions, tragedy.
