Life’s Memories Chained Together
Links of Time is the author’s successful attempt to prove to his own satisfaction that Jeremiah is indeed true when he says that God knew us before we were born; that He wanted nothing but the best for each one of his children. His plan for us includes only a desire for good with a hope for the future, a future of eternal life with Him.
Life is no bed of roses. No one is promised freedom from pain, sorrow, or suffering. How one deals with those times is up to the choices one makes. The author’s life has been no different than anyone else’s. Several major events including the death of two spouses, polio, and chronic illnesses like diabetes and impending kidney failure are among the most devastating times in the author’s life.
The author not only describes these events, but explains how he has overcome the grief and adverse conditions that accompany them, and has been able to develop a stronger faith in knowing that God does care and is always ready to help in time of need. This help most often has come through the lives of family members and close friends. Without them, proper choices could not have been made.
