Flea and Gang and the TUBE DOGS

Now everyone knows, fleas are very small critters. But one thing Winstint and
Gretchy have in their favor is very good eyesight. They can spot a flea at fifty paces
with the blink of an eye. They also have good smellers. They are equipped with extra
long schnozzles which pick up the odor of fleas at a sniff of a sniff.

As Winstint and Gretchy were doing their doggie duties, low and behold,
their archenemies, Flea and his Gang were observing their every movement (PUN).

Flea said to his gang, “You know, guys, we have been letting those two tube dogs
off easy lately.” “What we need to do is really get into their hair.”

“That fat little Gretchy and skinny Winstint really got it made.”

“They have loving masters who feed them Mighty Dog and bony treats and even let
them sleep in the same bed with them.”

“Boy, We really have to get those doggies into some misery.”

Now we all know what fleas do to doggies. They make it miserable for the little guys.
The doggies have to itch and scratch all day long.

They always seem to get on the doggie in an area where the scratching can’t get to the flea.
Then when the doggie gets close, they beeline into the deeper part of the doggies’s hair.
Then they run up and down the doggies’s body, twanging the individual hairs as they run with their feelers.

So, back to Flea and his gang struggling to climb the decorator wharf pole.
Flea’s gang makes a flea chain so Flea can just march up their backs.

This works pretty good except Flea is larger than his gang guys, and he tends
to wobble because they have a hard time holding him up.

The gang also has to be very alert for the Gamey Florida Skink which hides in the holes
of the decorator wharf pole and Gretchy, who is ever on the alert for the Gamey Florida
Skink. Wow! What obstacles Flea and his gang must overcome.

Flea sees that Gretchy and Winstint have occupied themselves with their rubber toys,
so he tells the gang to start the chain on the decorator wharf pole. As the gang runs out the
individual flea chain, Flea makes a mighty run up the backsides of the fleas.
He gets to the top of the pole with a mighty rush, sets his brakes and comes to a
screeching halt at the very tip of the edge. He slinks around the top of the pole like King Kong
and waits patiently for Gretchy to come close to the pole.

Meanwhile, Flea saw all the activity and made his plan to jump onto Gretchy’s backside.

Gretchy had spotted the Skink going into the hole in the pole, so she quickly stuffed her long
nose into the hole and took a mighty sniff.

She hoped that her big sniff would suck out the Skink, but it didn’t. Flea saw that this was
his chance to make his leap as Gretchy was right up to the pole.

Flea jumped off the pole and floated down with great ease right on tip of Gretchy’s backside.

He then made his run toward her tail end.

Gretchy knew she had been hit by the mighty Flea and immediately spun around and sat
down nipping at her tail. Flea then ran down to her belly and hollered for the gang to jump aboard.

The main objective for Flea and the Gang is to get into Winstint’s and Gretchy’s house.

They know that if they get inside they will be safe from all the dangers on the outside,
including the Skinks, their biggest enemy.

They knew that they would be able to get into the mattress of the tube dog’s master’s bed.

The mattress is supreme comfort for a flea — warm, relaxing, and just plain peaceful.

So you see, Flea and the Gang really only use Winstint’s and Gretchy’s bodies as a vehicle to hitch a ride.
