About the Book
THE REVEREND RICHARD BREEZE, 1797–1878 began life as the son of a farmer near Newton, Montgomeryshire, in Wales. He was drawn to the Baptist church and worked towards becoming a Baptist Minister. He established several congregations in Wiltshire, as well as running a school in Lechdale. He wrote this memoir of his life after he retired to Eastbourne. His great-grandson, my father, rescued his memoir from the family junk room in chestnut, England. Later, I transcribed it for the family, but always felt that Richard Breeze deserved a wider audience.
