About the Author
Lois B. Barnes, 79, has worked for various publications and newspapers over the years, receiving on the job training. Additionally, she set the 18-point size type for the Missouri State Publication for the legally blind, prepared and published several small news-letters among which were Wakela Speaks for Cub Scouts when her son was a member, Life Lines for the Missouri Press Women Association, The Graphoanalyst for the Kansas City, Mo., chapter of the International Graphoanalysis Society, Inc., Community Newsletter for Country Villa Estates Home Owners Association—her time and work freely given! She has had several articles published in the Pleasant Hill Times and the Blue Springs Sentinel. She wrote a Journalism Publication Manual for High School students, winning First place in the Missouri contest and Third in the National Competition held in Scottsdale, AZ. She lives and works from her home in a Retirement Community in Florida. BUTTERFLY! is her first book. She is currently working on her next release.
