SCRATCH On my mind You are always wandering there Looking deep down trying to find a crack So you can bury yourself deep inside Lodging your memories in me so they don’t die Keep me on, hook, line and sinker A zombie that doesn’t know right from wrong Lost & bewildered still looking for the one So here I am still thinking you are it Your brainwashing has rinsed my thoughts clean Whatever was left of any others is totally gone You and your evil ways know what to do Insuring yourself there is no competition A smile on your face because you think you know how to play the game Lies, sex, betrayal, deceit and false hopes Don’t talk to me of the future when it doesn’t exist You’re so messed up as a human being You breathe and live yet you are not real An illusion to keep me around A joke that I wasn’t aware of A gift from the foulest place A trap to destroy all that is good A barrel of lies A snake in the grass to charm me with its deceit The devil’s personal play thing You know what you are And for the time being You are an itch An itch I can’t scratch But if I ever could I’ll rub my skin raw Til I bleed Until you are finally gone

About the Book
The thoughts of a human being lost in the erratic shuffle of life. Once heavenly close to his so called better half he finds himself alone. Although that person strings him on for what seems an eternity he waits and waits. These are his thoughts and rage put to paper to exorcise the demon called love. Book One of a trilogy this book deals with the despair and crumbling sanity one goes through in a failure of trust. The following Book Two deals with the addictions physical and mental humans turn to so that they can ease the pain. Book Three deals with resurrection and if it can truly happen.
