About the Book

Just a day away from Christmas, Bea Moore becomes distraught when her mother tells her she has lost something very special…something called Christmas Spirit. Feeling sorrowful that her mother is sad, Bea conducts a search for Christmas Spirit and even beckons help from Santa Claus. Bea writes Santa a letter, asking not for toys, but to be removed from Santa’s “Good List” so Santa may instead add her mother’s name. Bea Moore soon comes to realize how powerful a Christmas heart can be!

About the Author

Lisa Catanzarite earned a B.A. in English from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Communications from Duquesne University. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, Jeffrey, and their children, Jack, Ava, and Nora. Heidi Miller earned a B.S. in Art Education from Penn State University. Heidi taught elementary art education in Pittsburgh before becoming a freelance artist and illustrator. She lives with her husband, Brian, and their daughters, Abby and Paige.
