Edwin's Flight

About the Book

A little bird named Edwin is born with a not so perfect wing making him unfit for the birds flying school and annual race. Edwin soon realizes that with a little determination and a lot of practice anything can be achieved. Edwin's spirit and motivation soon have him soaring above the all the other birds.

About the Author

Denise Carey-Costa was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She attended the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School, and the State University of New York at Buffalo where she majored in Theater and English Literature. Denise has had an extensive career in the performing arts as an actress, dancer and choreographer prior to writing children's books. She is the author of "A Tale of Three Tails" and "Edwin's Flight" both through Trafford Publishing. Denise tours with her books to schools and libraries to promote humane education and compassion. She also works in conjuntion with the Orange County, Florida SPCA and their Humane Education Department using her books as a teaching tool promoting responsible pet ownership, how to report animal cruelty and neglect, and laws regarding animal cruelty. Denise currenty resides in Orlando, Florida with her two dogs; Bear and Beau. Current works in production include "LUCKY" , "THE FIRST BEST FRIEND" and "DART; A CHAMPION'S STORY."
