As a child, one of the first things we learn is how to make a wish on a star. As children and adults, we are amazed by the beauty and mystery of the stars. Stars seem to represent things that are good. If I Could Catch A Star tells the story of what a young girl would do if she could have her very own star. From becoming a princess to being a sheriff, this young girl allows her imagination to make her wishes come true. Come experience her adventure and allow your imagination to take you to the stars as well. Stars have endless meanings for everyone, young or old. Just close your eyes and make a wish!

About the Author

Barbara D. Waddell is the mother of two children. She has an Associates Degree in accounting. Barbara and her husband, Leon, own and operate a small cafe in her hometown of Burlington, North Carolina. Barbara also works at a local bank. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family. Barbara hopes to continue writing children's books and maybe someday a novel. Her love for people, family, and her grandchildren inspired the writing of If I Could Catch A Star
