About the Book

It is about my life, the War years and food for thought. My experience in World War Two gave me the opportunity to meet many people, both in the Military and civilian life. What I learned about life and war, I believe I became a better person and a better human being today.

About the Author

I was a member of Co. "D", 2nd Battalion, 18th Marines, 2nd Marine Division. We were used as Infantry, Beach Party and Combat Engineers.
