About the Author
This planner was developed by David Levitch, M.S., R.D., L.D. A registered dietitian, Mr. Levitch has a diversified experience in the field of food and nutrition. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University of Kentucky and completed his clinical training at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Along with working at one of the highest acuity level hospitals in America, he has experience as being the Director of Food and Nutrition Services at a long-term, acute care hospital for a national corporation. His patient population has included cardiac, transplant, mental health, diabetic, mentally retarded, and HIV/AIDS patients.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Levitch has started his own company that markets study aids to students and interns in the field of nutrition and dietetics. His business has found a niche that has interested many college and university professors, as well as those wishing to sit for the Registration Exam for Dietitians.
