About the Book

This book is Charles Chiniquys' dedication to the youth of Canada and the temperance movement. In it, he presents a very strong case for Christian and civilized men and women to live an alcohol free lifestyle as an example to others so that fewer and fewer people might be drawn into its snare.

About the Author

Charles Chiniquy spent the first 50 years of his life in the Catholic Church. As a Roman Catholic priest, he was named Apostle of Temperance for Canada. When he began to have doubts about his "Church", he was falsely accused by jealous superiors. A young lawyer from Illinois (Abraham Lincoln) defended him and saved his reputation. His autobiography is 50 Years in the Church of Rome.
