Always balancing the relationship between themselves and their families and new-found friends and of course each other. Learning the likes and dislikes of one another, the joys and sorrows and problems. They form a strong bond even when problems and authorities try to tear them apart. Moving constantly towards a finish which is surprising.
About the Author
Lew Shields lived on the East Coast for 31 years and in California for almost 44 years. He has had many contacts in business and religious communities. He worked with the Air Force for 27 years. Working closely with a number of young Air Force men and women. Mr Shields and his ever supporting wife, Joyce raised seven children at home. Joyce is always the first editor of all his work and her inspiration and advice is the pivot point for many of the occurances in the book. His personal knowledge of young people was also supported in writing this book by his research at home as well as in the library. Now retired he loves to renew the practice that he took leave of in favor of family. In his youth he wrote most short stories. This is his first novel.
