About the Book

The literary writings you're about to read are based on love, life, destiny and questions of the world interpreted through the darkness of my soul. Each literary piece will take you on a unique journey; a journey of unexplored inner emotions. These are my thoughts, my writings. I warn you, some of these writings are explicit, and grotesque. However, I could not have done it any other way. Life exposed me to these thoughts and I will share with you just that.

The intricacies of life will provide wounds that will never heal and will remain forever open. The medium of writing brings forth the images created inside of you. These images begin to transform into stories that can be easily visualized. Some of the literary pieces will place you in situations that you've experienced in the past. However, other literary pieces will take you to a darker place such as "Prowling Eyes".

This story focuses on an obsessed murderous man that victimizes a lonely woman. "Misplaced Souls", is yet another literary piece that will send chills up your spine. The graphic depiction in each story is extreme.

"Do You Know Who He Was" makes you think about the universe, reincarnation, and how the living coexist with the dead. You will also be intrigued by the literary writings that explore true love, love triangles and betrayal.

My art form is raw, powerful, and extremely dark. I intend to take you on journeys that seldom exist in public. I will divulge visions and situations as viewed and interpreted through my eyes and surroundings.

My writings will reveal to you the true meaning of pain and human suffering. You will discover that artistic expression can be found in the medium of writing. I want to adamantly stress the fact that there is a difference between irrational thoughts for the sake of art, and irrational behavior that will cause harm or bodily injury to another human being.

About the Author

Alonso Rodriguez ws born on May 14, 1971. He grew up on the Bushwick sectionof Brooklyn, New York. Alonso completed an Associate in Applied Science degree from the City University of New York, Borough manhattan Community College before completing his Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University.

Alonso has a unique way of expressing his emotions through writing. When he decides to write about a particular topic, he states that he zones out, and his pen virtually takes over. "I never read my literary pieces until two or three months later. I'm always amazed at the end result. I love creating visual scenes using nothing more than words."
